The Pedaleure are volunteers in a transport service offered by Mobility Academy and TCS in Bern, Langenthal and Schaffhausen. They use electric cargo bikes to transport recyclable materials to the nearest recycling centre. The service can be used for free by anyone whose mobility is limited.

Who can use the transport service?

The transport service is for people whose mobility is limited due to their age and other factors, as well as people who have been in an accident and are therefore unable to properly dispose of recyclable materials. The Pedaleure transport service is carried out by volunteers who want to stay in shape.

Where is the Pedaleure transport service available?

At the moment in Langenthal, Bern and Schaffhausen.

How does the Pedaleure transport service work?

The service must be booked 3-5 working days in advance with the responsible regional Pedaleure representative. A date and time are then set for a volunteer to pick up the recyclable materials from the home of the individual who booked the service.

How much does the Pedaleure transport service cost?

The service is free of charge.
